We endeavor to give you our very best in order to enhance your spa experience with us. We adhere to certain policies to benefit you, our most special guest, and also to benefit our valued therapists. We realize other spas may not share our policies, however, every spa is unique in it's operation and in respecting both your time and our therapist's. We know you will have a pleasant experience with us as we strive to be your favorite spa.
Please be aware that your assigned appointment time is for the full enjoyment of your treatment, so plan on arriving early especially to fill out your treatment form. Late arrivals will limit our ability to offer full service and you will be responsible for the full service scheduled. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.
Please notify your massage therapist if you have high blood pressure or allergies; especially seafood allergies. Please advise of other physical challenges you may have or if you are pregnant. Booking an appointment with a specific therapist can be made for you if you ask for the therapist by name. All spa guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well-being in mind.
As a courtesy to other guests, please maintain a quiet level of conversation.
Gift Certificates are available for services only and not redeemable if lost or stolen and are non-transferable. Gift certificates for spa packages can only be redeemed for the treatments in the specified spa package, no substitutions.
Receiving a Massage:
Before a massage
If your hair is long, you may want to pin it up. All jewelry should be removed as well as contact lenses.
You will be asked to undress and get comfortable on the massage table, covered with a sheet, before the therapist enters the room.
During a massage
If any technique performed is uncomfortable to you, for any reason, let the therapist know immediately. Communication is essential!
Temperature: Should the temperature in the room be too cool for your comfort, let the therapist know.
Draping: The part of the body being worked on is the only part that will be undraped. No massages will be given without proper draping.
After a massage
Massage therapy promotes a release of toxins from the body tissues. In order to flush toxins from the body, it is imperative that you drink a sufficient amount of water. Keep drinking until the water passed from the body is clear. During massage you are lying prone for an hour or longer. This may cause dizziness upon sitting up. Therefore when getting up after massage, move slowly.
